The Directorate of School Education Jammu on Monday announced the suspension of classwork in all Government as well as Private schools of Jammu Division due to adverse weather conditions.
According to the order, as quoted by news agency JKNS, the closure will remain in effect till Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Officials said the step has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of heavy rainfall and forecast of further bad weather.
The department has instructed concerned officers and education authorities to ensure wide publicity of the order and compliance across the Division.
